I have lost my Head

Well if you can't tell things have been absolutely crazy around my household. So here is the scoop for all my knit-blog friends who I miss. Well, first off we have decided to move out of our apartment that we have lived in for four years. We are so excited to move, we currently have a slum lord for a land lord. I am talking, seen me naked slum lord. Not to mention, all of the repair work we have had to do to the apartment just to keep him off our backs. I just never thought I would ever be in a position like this with a land lord. I have tried to contact the rental rights department with the City, let me tell you - so unresponsive.

Anyways, we are moving. So over the past week and a half we have carefully sorted through all of our belonging to prepare for the rummage sale. What a mess, not to mention there was cat hair everywhere. We had two van loads of stuff to sell, which we did this weekend. Made some money and got rid of about half our stuff, the rest went to Goodwill. Anyways, I have just been ridiculously busy preparing to move.

So guess what I did to make it even better, I got a second job. I have seriously lost it. I am now employed at Kitchen Window in Uptown. While I didn't need a second job, it will be great to have some extra cash. So how did this all happen, I will tell you. I have lost my mind. Actually my friend is the Assistant Manager at Kitchen Window and just would not lay off me. It sounds like a fun job, not to mention they will teach me how to cook, chop, blend, BBQ....

Oh yes, there is one good spin here. As a reward to myself I purchased this I mean what else can I possible spend my money on. I guess I really do need that second job. Well, did take some great pictures of my stash while cleaning. I will show those off soon. Miss you all, I can't wait to get back into my groove.

At Kitchen Window? Really? Are you going to be living in Uptown after you move, or?

Sounds like a really, really bad landlord situation... Glad you're getting out. Maybe it's not so bad owning a puny little condo - at least I'm getting the repairs done for me!

Oh wow that sounds like a terrible landlord situation -- glad you could find another place and get out of there! Good luck at your new job, it sounds like fun!

Thanks for the note on the knitting style - that makes sense!

It sounds like it's past time to get away from that landlord.

The second job sounds like fun.
