All Done

All Done, that is not only the status of my shawl and Kevin's sweater, but how I am feeling at the end of this week. The grey days in Minneapolis are really starting to drag me down. I am finding it increasingly more difficult to climb out of bed. Anyways, I am finally posting the pictures of my completed projects. Both have a few mistakes, but I am sticking with the "that makes them unique" theory.

I have decided today to combat my blues, by ordering some new yarn. I have decided that I am going to be lazy and buy the yarn that is recommended by my pattern. I just don't feeling like figuring out if a different yarn will work. While this could save me a few dollars, I'm just not going to do it. Well, at least I am not going to do it for the Somewhat Cowl. I am also failing to mention that I really like the Blue Sky Alpaca in Ruby. While I do love Elann, you just can not always get the colors you want.

I am also debating whether or not I should make the Tubey out of the Peruvian Highland Wool from Elann to at least same me a few bucks on that project. Just lazy, maybe that should actually be the title of this entry. I do have hopes of hitting up a few yarn stores this weekend with my mother, and I know I will find something interesting there. By the way, it is also my lovely husband holding up the shawl. He makes sure a great model.

That is the coolest sweater I have ever seen. And some people say knitting can't be cool.
