Camping Curse

There is a curse that has followed our family camping since before I was born. That is right it always rains when I go camping. However, this time it did not and I thought that maybe marriage into a new family had broken the curse. I was so wrong it just manifested itself into a different type of curse. No rain, but we did camp next to thirty very under trained Boy Scouts. However, watching them try to chop wood was pretty comical. Unfortunately that was not the actually how the curse manifested itself. This is

That is right deer ticks. While in the past I have always been so good about checking for ticks, this trip I was lax. So what happens, I get a deer tick bite. I found the little gross jerk partially buried in my leg. At least it was not engorged yet, but now I am developing a rash that is commonly associated with Lyme's disease. Great, just my luck. So I am off to the Doc today to get some antibiotics. I just hate ticks.

On a better note, I am going to look at a motorcycle tonight. A Buell, not exactly what I want but close enough. I will see how much I like it. I guess the most important part is that the price is right. Also, I did get quite a bit of my Somewhat Cowl done. I am hoping to finish up more tonight. I was tossing around the idea of ribbing the whole body. I thought that might look kind of cool and it would be more fitted. Just a thought, I will have to decide later tonight. Have to run to my blood test, and antibiotics. Yuck Yuck
