It is like unraveling a Giant Cable Knit Sweater......

That someone keep knitting and knitting and knitting.... ahhh PeeWee Herman my life would be so different without you. I don't really know what that says about me, but oh well. So as you can tell, I have been doing nothing but knitting. I can't believe how haggard my hands look in this photo, and the photo tells no lies. My hands hurt so bad, I have had to take a break. I only have about five more inches to do on the middle section and then I move on to shaping the shoulders. This is what I really hope to accomplish this weekend. My true goal to finish this sweater is January 15th, I hope I can make it.
What is this black thing UFO'. Why that is my DH's first foray into the realm of knitting enjoyment. It has been no secret around our house that the Bearded on has wanted to learn how to knit for sometime. Not to mention he gets jealous of the time I spend knitting. So I put my mother's sweater down for the time being and taught him to knit. Progress has been slow, but hey it is his first go. This is just a picture of our XMAS tree, it is a real one this year. I was a little disappointed by its smell, not so piney. I also tried to coax Bacon into the picture by throwing a Kleenex on the floor. Apparently she has much higher standards when it comes to cat toys.

I *heart* Pee Wee! My sister actually used that quote in a phone call yesterday!

So sorry the sweater is hurting your hands! It looks fab!

What a great cat name! I like the bearded one's effort at knitting.

I'd say your hubby is doing a great job learning! I started out with a useless ugly square of knitting. I can't believe how much you're getting done on the fair isle!

Congrats to your hubby! My first knitting efforts were not as good as that! Hope your hands hold out...

My cats would be all over that tissue as in "snack"! It would be gone in seconds.

Your mother's sweater is looking good. Take care of those hands though. Congrats to your hubby on learning to knit! You realize that if you didn't want Bacon to bother the tissue, she would be all over it. :)
